ALEXANDER ZVADA | TEMPO

ARTIST STATEMENT: Music is a prime example of obsession. It is the idea of the rotation of sound, patterning to a tempo. Music is a large percentage of my life, repeating patterns of sound and images that resonate in my consciousness. This artwork illustrates audibly, as well as visually, the moods and themes that are presented in my mind, throughout the day.

REACTION STATEMENT: Taking Advanced Graphic Design and putting on the Idiosyncrasy gallery was one of the most enlightening experiences I've had at the University of Akron. This was the first time I was able to work with a team of designers, to create and achieve something tangible. This is as close as I've gotten in school to solving real-world design problems. I feel confident that the influence from this class will carry on through the rest of my student career, and into my professional career as well.
